With 14 years of commercial real estate experience, Nathaniel is responsible for the overall strategy of the company and is principally focused on guiding development, leasing and management activities for the ﬁrm.
Nathaniel has raised over $2,100,000,000 in capital in the last three years for our various real estate projects and has emerged as one of Kansas City’s most active commercial real estate developers. Our firm now owns / manages in excess of 28,000,000 sq. ft. of commercial space and over 2,000 apartments.
With 18 years of industrial engineering and construction experience, Chad is responsible for the general oversight & growth of development, brownfield re-development and Design Build industrial construction for NorthPoint Development projects nationwide. Currently, NorthPoint has over 28,000,000 SF of industrial projects completed, and is on track to double industrial deliveries nationally in the next twenty four months.
Prior to joining NorthPoint Development, Chad served as the Regional Director of ARCO National Construction and an Industrial Systems Engineer at GE.
During his 15-year career, Patrick has been involved in the development and planning of over 2,700 acres of commercial and residential projects throughout the United States, with a primary focus on the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Over the past eight years, Patrick has had direct responsibility for some of the largest residential and industrial developments in Kansas City. In his current role, Patrick is focused on identifying, evaluating, and executing new real estate development opportunities.
Mark is responsible for project execution from the planning stages to project completion. As Multifamily team leader, Mark oversees the acquisition, entitlement, design, and construction processes to ensure timely and cost efficient project delivery.
Since joining NorthPoint in 2012, Mark has managed numerous development projects across all asset classes including around 900,000 sf of industrial space, multifamily complexes totaling over 1,275 units, over 2 miles of road and utility infrastructure, and a variety of tenant finishes.
With 14 years of economic development experience, Brent is responsible for development prospects, incentive offers and approvals, and governmental relations. Brent’s day to day tasks include contracts for incentives, real estate and land development negotiations, and governmental financing structures. In addition to his role at NorthPoint Development, Brent is President of NorthPoint Incentive Consultants (NPIC) which assists businesses with Federal, State, Local, and Utility Incentive packages. During his career, Brent has procured more than 600 incentive programs for clients.
With 18 years of construction experience in a wide array of market sectors including industrial, office, senior living, and retail, Larry is responsible for overseeing various projects from entitlement through construction. His civil engineering background coupled with national experience helps ensure project efficiency not only during construction, but the initial planning and design phases as well. Prior to joining NorthPoint Development, Larry served as the Vice President of Operations at Brinkmann Constructors.
With 30 years in real estate construction, brokerage and development, Bob is responsible for the site development and project management of new warehouse construction. Current projects are located at Logistics Park Kansas City, Columbus, Ohio and Indianapolis
With over 20 years of experience in real estate development, Johan provides expertise that incorporates development, site selection, business and economic incentives procurement, capital market solutions, and construction project management for client-specific BTS solutions.
As Director of Property Management, Kelly is responsible for overseeing the property management operations for a portfolio of over 2,000 apartment units and 8 million square feet of commercial space. Kelly has over 15 years of successful property management and business development experience including an extensive background in portfolio management and property operations. Kelly’s expertise includes new construction, lease-ups, acquisitions, renovations and dispositions. She is a CAPS designate through the National Apartment Association and is a recent graduate of the Lyceum Program. Kelly actively serves on the Board of Directors as the Vice Chairman and co-chair for the Legislative Committee for the Apartment Association of Kansas City.
Rob has been a partner with NorthPoint Development since February 2012. Separately, Rob’s family is also an investor in virtually all of NorthPoint’s investment opportunities.
Prior to partnering with NorthPoint, Rob was a Senior Systems Analyst at DST Systems (1993-2000). In 1998 he co-authored the book “Active Experts” which is an instructional book for Microsoft’s Active X Technologies. After leaving DST Systems Rob joined Tradebot Systems where he held the positions of Software Engineer, Vice President of Software Development, and CEO & President of Tradebot Systems (2000-2011). He retired from the CEO position at the end of 2011 but maintains an advisory roll with ‘Fellow’ status within the company.
With 17 years of engineering, design and construction experience, John supports the infrastructure development and industrial building construction at Logistics Park Kansas City, and is part of NorthPoint’s industrial space redevelopment Team. Prior to joining NorthPoint Development, John served as the Kansas City area Operations Manager for Terracon Consultants.
With 11 years of accounting and finance experience, Brett is responsible for overseeing internal and external financial reporting, overseeing the budgeting process, collaborating with investors on new projects, and managing the back office functions of NorthPoint (A/P, A/R, HR, IT). Prior to joining NorthPoint Development, Brett worked as CFO and controller of Briarcliff Realty as well as an accountant for Block Real Estate Services and State Street Corporation. He started his career as an Accounting/Sales Analyst for Hometown America Management in Chicago.
With 26 years of agribusiness and supply chain experience, Diogo joined NorthPoint as CEO of the NorthPoint Logistics group of companies.
As CEO he plans to invest and improve selected companies in the food logistics space and technology startups by acquisition and consolidation.
Dane is a co-founder and principal of ColdPoint. He has over 38 years of experience in the cold storage business. Prior to ColdPoint, Dane served for 29 years with URS Logistics, which merged with AmeriCold in 2000. While at URS and AmeriCold, he served as the Senior Vice President of Protein Warehouses. His responsibilities included 36 warehouses in 20 states. Dane oversaw 200 export loads per week and had direct managerial responsibilities for over 3.5 billion pounds of protein products per year. During this time, Dane’s team included over 1,000 associates. During his tenure, the company successfully completed over 2 million square feet of construction for protein products. In his current role, Dane leads ColdPoint’s sales team.
John leads ColdPoint’s transportation division and is responsible for drayage from ColdPoint to the BNSF intermodal facility at Logistics Park Kansas City, and he is responsible for coordinating equipment with ocean carriers. He joined ColdPoint from Jarden, a fortune 500 company and a top 15 importer of consumer products.
During his 20 years with Jarden, he oversaw all aspects of logistics, from sourcing products to trucking to managing ocean freight, including customs clearance. John’s understanding of the supply chain and his deep relationships with ocean and land carriers resulted in successfully establishing a “matchback” program for a 1.2 million square foot distribution center in Neosho, MO.
Tim brings 18 years of experience in the commercial building and real estate development business to NorthPoint, recently starting NorthPoint’s Cincinnati office to continue their growth into the Ohio valley area including Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. Tim is responsible for all aspects of project execution including site selection/due diligence, design/engineering, all the way through construction.
Prior to joining NorthPoint, Tim worked at Design Build Solutions, a regional design/build & development firm in Cincinnati and completed national design/build projects at ARCO National Construction.
Benjamin is responsible for Beyond Self Storage, NorthPoint’s self-storage initiative, where he oversees the data analysis, site selection, entitlement, and operations. Prior to NorthPoint, Ben served as the VP of Business Development for Infegy, a technology company in Kansas City, honing his creativity and passion on growing business through new channels and untapped markets.
As general counsel, Ian participates in all sales, development, leasing and financing activities for the firm. Over his career in private practice and at NorthPoint Development, Ian has closed transactions valued in excess of $2 billion, and has participated in all facets of the development process, including appearances in front of state agencies, municipal boards, and councils across the country. Prior to joining NorthPoint, Ian worked in the real estate transaction, finance and development practice group of Polsinelli, PC, one of the nation’s larges legal firms. Prior to private practice, Ian served asa judicial law clerk to a federal district court judge where he was responsible for the court’s civil docket.
During his 27 year career Tom has developed over thirty million square feet of industrial buildings, twenty business parks, and 2200 acres of land. Tom is the first employee in the Chicago office of NorthPoint and will oversee projects in Illinois and other Midwestern states.
Prior to joining NorthPoint Tom was Director of the Midwest Region for IDI Gazeley.
Thom joined NorthPoint Development as the Vice President of Operations of our ColdPoint Logistics division. He brings over 25 years of experience as an operations leader supporting 3PL cold storage facilities and is responsible for supporting ColdPoint Logistics start-up and growth expectations.
Prior to joining NorthPoint, Thom executed the operations, sales and continuous improvement initiatives for 2 of the top privately owned cold storage companies.
