New Development on Chicago’s South Side Offers up to 2.4 MSF of Class A Industrial Space
CHICAGO, August 26, 2020 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that NorthPoint Development has selected the firm to market the remaining three sites at Commerce Park Chicago, which will offer up to an additional 1.9 million square feet of new Class A industrial spec and build-to-suit opportunities. Commerce Park Chicago is a 2.4 million square foot park located in Chicago’s Hegewisch neighborhood.

Located at the former Republic Steel Site at 12200 S. Ave. O, Commerce Park Chicago offers tenants the flexibility and setting of a suburban industrial park while remaining close to Chicago’s labor and customer base.
Following the recently completed and fully leased 360,000 square feet building, Building A is scheduled to deliver in Summer 2021 offering 299,057 square feet divisible to 74,764 square feet, 72 trailer spaces and 36’ clear heights in a rear-load configuration. Building E offers 580,587 square feet, 146 trailer spaces and 36’ clear heights in a cross-dock configuration and is targeted to deliver in Summer 2021.
